For my daughter's second-grade homework:
The Big Ten
Pretend you are going to be taken by helicopter to a deserted island where you must live alone for seven days. You may take only 10 different things with you. Think before you begin writing. If you forget something important, you may not survive!
1. Nintendo DS
2. DS games
3. Food
4. Water
5. Clothes
6. Toothbrush
7. Toothpaste
8. Floss
9. Bathing suit
10. Sunscreen
As a matter of survival, may I point out that the floss is big number 8.

That girl is a trip. Good for you for instilling the floss factor so early.
ha ha! At least she does include water & food.
Thanks for visiting my blog. :-)
Look what you've done.
Amazing! The girl put floss on that list--go mom!
And what a great project--I'm currently thinking of my 10 items right now...
Yes, as you have pointed out, floss is imperative for survival. Or being happy.
Cute.
Well, I'm not there yet.
But I have over seven days and counting on my own flossing adventures.
I have much to learn from her.
:)
I love that Nintendo DS is the number one item!
Smart girl! I would have packed the DS and FORGOT the games!
Nintendo: life or death. It's interesting, you know. Her case to Santa was that it would be good for car trips or airplane rides. And that's when she uses it. At home, she'd much rather play with friends. But finding friends in the neighborhood? That's item 11-100 on the list of bare necessities.
