And like that, school's out.
Time packs up its fractional interest,
its dewey decimals
and skips out of this slow motion town.
The hair, the shoes, the smudgy silver lunchkit are
suddenly so
last year.
The endless days might seem to stretch
but not one
not even one
will keep its shape.
Who can refuse to enjoy the view?

Wow. Am I really the first to get here and say how lovely Georgia looks with her new summer hair? She does.
What a beautiful beaming face framed by stylish cut. :)
What a cute girl. Nice haircut! :)
I love what you've written!
I wish you lazy summer days ahead full of gentle fun and hapy memories.
Your daughter is beautiful.
She looks gorgeous! But, you knew that.
Beautiful girl. Such a moment.
She's a beauty.
I can see where you get your inspiration and adoration from - she is adorable! Cat
gosh she is beautiful, isn't she!
there is nothing more lovely than a bob on a girl with supremely beautiful confidence and grace. georgia, the summer is yours. have a blast.
She is a gorgeous young lady. I hope her summer is filled with big dreams and lazy days.
I love the idea of the days not keeping their shape. Sliding out of true like a Dali clock, turning into clovers, maybe, or diamonds. What shapes to summer days take?
I can't refuse. Can you?
I love her summer haircut. Perfect. She is so beautiful.
Your summer thoughts are just right. I can so relate.
Enjoy your weekend.
Enjoy a wonderful summer with your beautiful daughter. I look forward to tales of your adventures with her and on your own. Thanks for this photo, these beautiful thoughts, and for being and sharing yourself.
Peace.
