There is only one thing for you to do

This is so staggeringly simple you'll want to sit down and see how it works in real life.

Compassion = No judgment
Authenticity = No deception
Freedom = No thought
Fearlessness = No ego
Love = No self

Making more of it is making it up. No need to research or study, analyze or compare. No slideware, no book, no CDs, no subscriptions. No seminars, no webcasts. No invention or interpretation.

There is only one thing for you to do. Sit down and practice. Everything else happens by itself.

I love this post! :)

Just practice... I often tell myself. I know the answers are there. I mean, I have felt them there. They're waiting for me.

Namaste--

Wow. It sounds so simple.

You're so right. Practice couldn't be simpler. Resistance is complicated.

Not a simple task at all, I think I shall be presuing this for the rest of my life and I will be grateful if I can sit for 5 minutes while my brain shuts up.

Cat, then sit for five minutes while your brain doesn't shut up. It's practice all the same, and it's all there is to work with.

I am 38. I have been working what seems like my entire life on one and two. I feel like in general, I practice that. Three four and five however are the struggle right now.
Or maybe it's just three I'm working on, and four and five are the struggle.

Or maybe it just is.

I read it. I think about it. I read some more. I listen to it. But I don't sit. I think I want to sit so badly, I need the stillness. Why do I avoid it so? Stay attached to this machine on my lap instead of walking away and sitting.
I sat this morning. I will sit again. and again.

Practice and then it happens. Why can't I allow it to be that simple? Especially when life gets in the way.

Hugs,
Debbie
